UBC Okanagan’s Art on the Line showcases local artists

Early bird tickets on sale until Monday for fundraiser featuring works by students, faculty, alumni and artists in the community

Close to 150 works of art local by artists, faculty and students will be on display Saturday, Feb. 25 at UBC Okanagan during 15th Annual Art on the Line Fundraiser and Gala.

Each one of 115 ticket holders for the event will is guaranteed one piece of art.

Proceeds from the event support visual arts student exhibitions and activities, and will make charitable donations to Bumbershoot Children’s Theatre and the Alternator Centre for Contemporary Art.

A join effort of the University of British Columbia’s Department of Creative and Critical Studies and the Visual Arts Course Union, Art on the Line brings together the local arts community to celebrate the work of our students, faculty, alumni, as well as artists practicing in the community

Tickets are still available, with early bird pricing of $175 ending tomorrow, Jan. 9.

Prices increase to $190 thereafter.
