BC Hydro indicates that power was restored as of 4 p.m. Monday afternoon.

About 2,600 BC Hydro customers are impacted by a power outage in the Clearbrook area of Abbotsford on Monday afternoon (Sept. 28).

According to BC Hydro, the outage affects the area east of Clearbrook Road, south of Nanaimo Crescent, north of Peardonville Road and west of Maclure Road.

Smaller outages are also reported in the 3000 block of Trethewey street and the 32800 block of George Ferguson Way.

BC Hydro says the outage occurred at about 12:45 p.m. The cause of the outage is “under investigation” and crews are on site, according to the website.
