The Trail Maple Leaf Band threads have undergone colour and style changes over the years, but one thing has remained constant, someone always needs help straightening his or her tie. In May and early June, Lise MacDonald from JJ’s Fashions in downtown Trail dressed two mannequins in the band’s old uniforms as part of a celebratory display of the group’s 100th anniversary; the blue is from the 50s and the red dates back to the 1970s and 1980s.
