UPDATE: South Poplar Elementary was added to the list of closed schools late Tuesday evening.
The following schools will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday Feb. 8): Aberdeen Elementary, King Elementary, Mt. Lehman Elementary, Bradner Elementary, Barrowtown Elementary, Upper Sumas Elementary, Matsqui Elementary, Ross Elementary and South Poplar Elementary.
All school buses will NOT be running tomorrow.
Staff attendance is expected at all district schools and employees who can’t make it are asked to contact their supervisor.
The remaining district schools are planned to open tomorrow but district officials are monitoring the weather and that could change. Any such changes will be posted to the district’s Twitter and Facebook pages as close to 6 a.m. as possible (and on abbynews.com soon after).
The University of the Fraser Valley will be open for all classes tomorrow.
