Students and staff from Royal Bay Secondary in Colwood have returned to class following a brief evacuation in the building Tuesday morning.
Colwood Fire Rescue determined that it was a pea trap that had started leaking a sewage smell.
Afternoon classes are continuing as per usual after a 30 minute evacuation just before 11 a.m.
Students and staff at #SD62 Royal Bay Secondary are currently being evacuated due to a gas smell. Emergency services have been notified. We will update when we have more information. All is ok, no one is injured.
