UPDATE: Comeau arrested after warrant issued in Quesnel

Two men have been arrested in connection to a shooting Saturday morning.

Two men have been arrested in connection to a shooting Saturday morning.

Kale Raymond Comeau, 27 and one other male are being charged with discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life, pointing a firearm and breaching an undertaking in relation to the June 2 shooting incident in the 400 block of Hartley Street. The rounds did not strike anyone, but penetrated a window and siding of a residence.

Comeau was arrested Tuesday morning after a warrant was issued. The other male was arrested Monday.

Both men have been remanded in custody until June 6 (today) when he will make his first formal court appearance in Quesnel.

Sunday, June 3, members of the Quesnel RCMP executed a search warrant in connection to this shooting.

Shortly after noon on Sunday, the warrant to search was executed on a Red Bluff Road property which resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cocaine, heroin and two prohibited weapons.

The Quesnel RCMP would like to remind the public that this shooting was a targeted attack.

The people responsible for the shooting were known to the occupants of the residence.
