There were several power outages in the Kelowna area after yesterday’s wind storm that knocked over trees in different areas of Kelowna.
Emergency crews have been called out this morning to survey the damage of a house that had a tree fall on it yesterday afternoon due to the high winds.
According to Fortis, power outages were fixed last night.

High winds that ripped through the Kelowna area this afternoon caused problems in areas of the city.
Emergency crews responded to Mills Road just off Highway 33 in the Kelowna area for a tree downed on a power line.
There are also reports of various power outages in the Kelowna area. There are 177 Fortis BC customers affected in the Dehart road area of Kelowna.
The weather forecast had called for high winds to hit the area this evening with a low pressure system.
