The search for Kelowna mom Megan Doyle came to an end Thursday, with RCMP reporting that her body was found somewhere in the BIg White area.
Const. Kris Clark said they received a call early in the day that Doyle’s vehicle had been found. When RCMP went to the location to continue the search, Doyle’s body was found.
The cause of death is unknown, but the RCMP are passing the file over to the Coroner’s office.
“We are continuing to assist the BC Coroner service in the investigation,” said Clark.

The Kelowna RCMP and Central Okanagan Search and Rescue continue efforts to locate Megan Doyle after she was reported missing last week.
Megan Doyle was last seen on the evening of Friday, Sept.11 in the Kelowna area. Megan is driving a grey 2012 Toyota Rav 4, bearing BC licence plate 978 LHJ, which does not have the spare tire affixed to the rear.
“An air search of the Big White area was completed yesterday but Megan Doyle was not located,” said Const. Kris Clark, in a press release. “The search continues today from the air as well as on the ground. Investigators are asking anyone in the area to be on the lookout for her or her vehicle and to notify police immediately if seen. “
Doyle is described as:
Caucasian female;
31 years;
5 ft 8 in (173 cm);
160 lbs (73 kgs);
Brown shoulder length hair;
Green eyes.

Kelowna RCMP are continuing to look for a missing Kelowna mother.
Megan Doyle, 31 was last seen Friday, Sept. 11, in the Kelowna area.
Her immediate family is concerned for her wellbeing, suggesting that Doyle may be either in the Big White Ski Resort area or ventured out to the Nakusp area.
Doyle, a nurse, is reported to be driving a grey 2012 Toyota Rav 4 with the B.C. license plate 978 LHJ.
She is described as 5-foot-8, 160 lbs, with shoulder length brown hair and green eyes.
