Hayden MacDonald was reported missing this morning, having last been seen off of Sus Ave. in the area behind the Lake Babine First Nation band office. A large community effort was rallied by the RCMP to search the wooded area and trails for the girl, but she was found within a few hours at a neighbor’s house. The girl was visiting and the homeowner slept through the excitement outside.
Local RCMP thanked the public for their rapid support of the search effort.
