UPDATE: Missing Mission teen located

RCMP confirm that 14-year-old girl Kaitlyn Gill has been found safe.

A Mission teenager, reported missing on June 14, has been located and is safe.

Mission RCMP confirmed on Sunday that 14-year old Kaitlyn Gill was located in the Maple Ridge area.

No other information has been released about the incident.

Mission RCMP are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing teenager.

On June 14 police received a missing person’s report for 14-year old, Kaitlyn Gill. Police were advised that Kaitlyn may have taken a bus or walked to Maple Ridge earlier that evening.

She is described as a Caucasian/South Asian female who is five foot, two inches tall with a slender build. She has long black hair and a nose piercing.

Kaitlyn Gill was seen wearing a black Obey hoodie and leggings and carrying a black backpack with the word “Pink” on the back.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Kaitlyn Gill to call the Mission RCMP non-emergency line at 604-826-7161 or the emergency line (911).
