UPDATE: Missing mute man Kenneth Wetherald found safe, Surrey RCMP say

Wetherald went missing at roughly 12 a.m. on April 12 in the 13200-block of 96th Avenue.

UPDATE: Kenneth Wetherald has been located and police say he is safe.

WHALLEY – Surrey RCMP hope the public can help find a missing man.

Kenneth Wetherald was last seen at about 12 a.m. on April 12 in the 13200-block of 96th Avenue and has not been seen or heard from since.

Wetherald, 53, is described as Caucasian, five feet 11 inches tall, 181 pounds, with grey and black hair and brown eyes. Police say he was last seen wearing a brown shirt, blue sweat pants and white shoes.

Police are concerned for Wetherald’s health and well-being as he is mute and suffers from a medical condition. He is also known to frequent the transit system around the Lower Mainland
