UPDATE: Nanaimo RCMP report Van Phap Truong has been found safe and sound.
PREVIOUSLY POSTED: The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help to find 36-year-old Van Phap Truong who has been missing for several days.
According to police, Truong is dealing with some significant personal issues, which have his friends and family extremely worried for his personal safety and well-being.
Truong’s cell phone has been disabled and patrols for him throughout Nanaimo have proven negative. Truong has access to a vehicle, a white 2016 Infiniti QX 60 bearing B.C. licence number 674XSG.
Truong is south Asian, 5-foot-6, 150 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes and is believed to be wearing a black leather jacket.
