PREVIOUSLY POSTED: The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding a 57-year-old woman who missed a work appointment and hasn’t been seen since last week.

According to a police press release, Tracy Ferguson did not arrive at her scheduled work appointment Thursday, May 6. Investigators were told by a friend of Ferguson’s that the missed appointment was “completely out of character for her,” causing concern for her safety and well-being.

Police have also learned Ferguson had been residing on a boat moored in Anchorage Marina on Stewart Avenue, but that she has not returned to the vessel since May 3.

Ferguson is a Caucasian, 5-foot-3, 130 pounds with long grey hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2021-16683.
