UPDATE: Wednesday 8:48 a.m.
BC Wildfire responded to several reports of smoke and flame in the North Okanagan, on Tuesday evening.
Firefighters attended the Ingram Road area but were unable to locate the blaze.
According to the BC Wildfire Service, today, they will be reaching out to the original callers who reported the fire to see if they can get a better idea of where the smoke was spotted.
Crews may also return to the area again on Wednesday.

BC Wildfire is reporting a blaze north-west of Vernon near the Salmon River.
The fire is in it’s early stages of investigation and is estimated to be .01 hectares off of Ingram Road.

The fire was sparked sometime on Tuesday and is just north of another blaze off of Whiteman Forest Service Road which is 10 hectares in size.
It’s unclear what started the fire.
