Update: No injuries in vehicle fire on Highway 3A

Vehicle fire between Keremeos and Penticton on Highway 3A

Update: Monday, Jan. 7 11:32 a.m.

RCMP said there were no injuries in a vehicle fire on Highway 3A that occurred on Saturday afternoon.

Const. James Grandy said a vehicle had started smoking from the engine so a driver pulled over and the vehicle caught on fire.

A vehicle has caught fire on Hwy 3A between Penticton and Keremeos in the afternoon of Jan. 5.

Penticton and Keremeos Fire Departments could not be reached for comments. It is unclear at this time what started the blaze or if any injuries have been reported.
