Vancouver police said Tuesday (Nov. 3) that there turned out to be nothing suspicious about an incident where a woman was carried into a car in the city’s Marpole neighbourhood early Wednesday (Oct. 28) morning.

Surveillance video from Wednesday (Oct. 28) had showed a woman and a man involved in an “altercation” on West 59 Avenue before two men arrived in a white SUV.

Police said Tuesday that the people in the video had come forward to speak to authorities.

“Investigators have no reason to believe anything criminal in nature occurred that morning,” police stated.
