Family and friends say it is totally out of character for William Fraser Brown to go missing

William Fraser Brown, 65, has been missing since Oct. 19 from his Langley home. His family says it is completely out of character.

William Fraser Brown, 65, has been missing since Oct. 19 from his Langley home. His family says it is completely out of character.

Langley RCMP issued a press release late Monday afternoon asking for the public’s help in locating 65-yea- old Langley resident William Fraser Brown. He was last seen by his family in Langley on Friday, Oct. 19.

He is described as a  65 year old Caucasian male; 5’’11” (180 cm) tall; 270 lbs. (123kg), with grey hair and blue eyes. He may have been wearing a grey hoodie.

Fraser Valley Search and Rescue set up base around the 23700 block of 16 avenue on Tuesday but so far haven’t located Brown.

“His family describes this behaviour as very much out of the ordinary,” says Const. Craig van Herk. “They, along with the Langley RCMP, are very concerned for Mr. Brown’s well being.”

Brown’s vehicle is still parked at his home, and his cellphone is still there too, said police.

If anyone should see William Brown or know of his whereabouts, they are asked to call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
