UPDATE: Environment Canada has cancelled a weather statement that predicted a cold front Sunday morning.
In its earlier statement, the agency had said a cold front was bringing strong westerly winds with gusts up to 80 kilometres an hour to the Lower Mainland.
Environment Canada said that the gusts would ease up by midday.
