UPDATE: Surrey RCMP arrest ‘indecent acts suspect’

A man was allegedly seen walking with his genitals exposed and appeared to masturbate in Guildford Heights Park

UPDATE (May 8, 9:32 a.m.): Police in Surrey say thanks to help from the public and media, a suspect has been arrested and will appear in court on July 27.

SURREY — Police are asking for help to identify an “indecent acts suspect.”

Police say a man was allegedly seen walking with his genitals exposed and appeared to masturbate in Guildford Heights Park, located near 155th Street and 101A Avenue.

According to RCMP, the incident happened around 6:41 p.m. on April 28. The witness obtained the photos being distributed, according to police, which were handed over to RCMP.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his mid-30s, approximately six feet tall, weighing approximately 174 lbs.

Police say at the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a black leather jacket, grey hoodie, a white T-shirt and jeans.
