A wildfire reported seven kilometres west of Tatla Lake Tuesday evening is now fully contained, said the BC Wildfire Service.
“The fire is approximately 50 hectares in size,” said Ryan Turcot, fire information officer with the BCWS. “No further spread is anticipated at this point in time.”
The wildfire was reported to the BCWS on Tuesday evening at around 8 p.m.
“The BC Wildfire Service currently has 25 firefighting personnel on the scene of that fire and is being supported by heavy equipment,” he said.
