UPDATE: Two injured in vehicle rollover on Highway 33

Emergency crews are responding to a single vehicle rollover near Big White Road

UPDATE Nov. 24 9 a.m.

Road conditions may have played a role in a rollover collision which sent a man and woman to hospital with relatively minor injuries Thursday evening in Kelowna.

Both occupants of the vehicle were able to extract themselves from the vehicle having each sustained relatively minor injuries. Both were transported to hospital as a precaution for a full medical assessment.

“Police ruled out alcohol as a factor in the crash,” said O’Donaghey. “Investigators believe that a dramatic drop in temperature, combined with wet roads, possibly led to black ice and poor road conditions.”

Witnesses to the crash who have not spoken to police you are asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
