UPDATED: Police say the girls have been located thanks to several tips from the public.

Surrey RCMP are looking for a 10-year-old and 12-year-old girl after they were reported missing Sunday evening.

The girls, who are cousins, were last seen playing in a residential complex near the 16100 block of 83 Avenue around 5 p.m.

One of their mothers called them for dinner, police said, but could not find them and called RCMP.

Officers have so far been unable to locate them either. The local search and rescue team was called in as well.

The 10-year-old, named Hayley, is white, about 4’11”, 100 lbs., with fair skin, a medium to husky build and long, light brown hair. She was last seen possibly wearing glasses, as well as a long, white mesh sweater with black stars and black tights.

Arwyn, 12, is also white, about 4’11”, 70 lbs., with fair skin, a slim build and long dark hair. She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved burgundy shirt and black tights.

Anyone who may have seen the girls or knows where they are is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers.
