UPDATED: North Coast ferry delayed between Haida Gwaii and Prince Rupert

Adverse weather conditions in sailing area

Due to ongoing adverse weather conditions in the North Coast area, sailings on the Northern Adventure between Prince Rupert and Skidegate and will be delayed.

The revised schedule, as of 12:30 p.m., will have ferries expected to sail at 11:00 p.m, Deborah Marshall, executive director of BC Ferries, told The Northern View.

The next sailing will be on the following revised schedule for Sept 17., subject to weather:

Depart Prince Rupert — 2:00 p.m.

Arrive in Skidegate — 8:00 p.m.

Depart in Skidegate — 11:00 p.m.

These times are estimates and are subject to change.
