Sunday outage caused by fallen tree on wires

Power has been restored to nearly 2,000 residents in and around East Sooke after an outage around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 3.

The affected areas in west of Rocky Point in Metchosin and East of Woodlands Road in Sooke were caused by a fallen tree on wires.
