Westbound lanes of Highway 1 near Sumas Road in Abbotsford were closed for several hours overnight after a serious collision involving an RCMP vehicle and a BMW sedan.
Video taken at the scene showed a black SUV with severe front-end damage and a white BMW sedan with damage as well.
Multiple RCMP units and BCEHS paramedics were on the scene.
One report said a Chilliwack RCMP vehicle was involved in the collision.
Police have not confirmed whether a pursuit was involved in the accident, if anyone was injured, or if any arrests were made.
