UPDATED: Single lane traffic along West Sooke Road in Sooke after gas leak

Construction crews hit a gas line just before 10 a.m.

Single lane traffic is once again flowing through West Coast Road in Sooke after a gas leak occured on Thursday morning.

Traffic between Otter Point Road and Maple Avenue South was temporarily halted after construction crews hit a gas line just before 10 a.m.

Nearby businesses were evacuated and will be notified when they can return to their storefronts.
