Grand Forks RCMP received a report of a single vehicle collision east of Wilgress Lake by Grand Forks on Dec. 2 at 5:21 p.m.
By the time police arrived, everyone had left the scene and police attended Boundary Hospital to speak with a witness. The witness noted Eholt summit was very slippery and he observed the vehicle, a red 1997 GMC Suburban 4X4, fishtail and go into the ditch.
“The witness stopped and offered assistance to transport the people to the hospital,” said Grand Forks RCMP Staff Sgt. Jim Harrison. “Our member spoke to the driver at the hospital who advised that she was going westbound and doing well-under the speed limit when she lost control due to poor road conditions.”
The driver, passengers, and the vehicle sustained minor cuts and bruises
