SURREY — Three people were hurt Tuesday morning when a vehicle flipped over at 64th Avenue and 138th Street.
Surrey RCMP say injuries were minor in the crash that happened at about 11.25 a.m. when one car running in parallel clipped the other causing it to roll over.
Police blocked all eastbound traffic between King George Boulevard and 140th Street for a short time.
Surrey RCMP Corporal Scott Schumann said three people were taken to the hospital.
“One vehicle contacted the other and we are not exactly sure why it happened but the fault in the accident will be determined by ICBC at some point once they receive our reports,” Schumann said.
Just after the crash, the Surrey Traffic Management Centre had sent out a tweet asking commuters to take alternate routes.
