UPDATED: Three people sent to hospital following serious crash in View Royal, B.C. Coroner Service investigating

Incident involved a motorcycle and one vehicle on Sunday afternoon

Three people have been taken to the hospital with one sustaining serious life-threatening injuries after a crash in View Royal on Sunday afternoon.

B.C. Coroner Service confirmed it was notified and is currently investigating.

West Shore RCMP closed Six Mile Road after responding to a call around 2:45 p.m. for a report of an incident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle. The road between Old Island Highway and Atkins Avenue was opened around 7 p.m. Sunday.

Police will continue their investigation into the cause of the crash.
