Victoria police officers closed the 1000-block of Tillicum Road for an operation Friday afternoon.
Just before 3 p.m. VicPD tweeted that the road was closed and said the operation was in support of an investigation. Police advised motorists to avoid the area as traffic would be disrupted and said there was no immediate danger to the public.
Around 4:15 p.m. police tweeted that one person was taken into custody and that traffic would be opening up again.
