Victoria News has identified the family pictured in photos shared by VicPD.

Police issued a media release Wednesday asking for help reconnecting a family with photos found scattered in a Victoria parking lot.

Police said roughly 30 photos were found in a lot located in the 800-block of Bay Street on Oct. 12. The photos show a young family and a baby.

The woman in the photos told Black Press Media that her family was doing a big clean out of their home and had left items in a large bin awaiting pickup. She said because of the long weekend the bin was out for three days – plenty of time for people to rummage through it.

The photos, she said, had been torn from an album, which was taken from the bin.
