Wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, James Beecher has been arrested by the Vancouver Police Department.
The 45-year-old man is a federal parolee with a history of convictions for drug trafficking, firearms, fraud and property-related offences, including forcible entry. Prior to arrest, he had last been seen in Victoria on Dec. 4.
VicPD thanked the Vancouver citizen who spotted Beecher and alerted police.
