UVic law students research immigration law as part of a national response to the executive order from U.S. President Donald Trump that restricts refugees from seven countries from entering the United States. Canadian law students from across the country took part in a research-a-thon Saturday, looking into the refugee agreement with the goal of providing refugees who are banned from entering the U.S. the opportunity to seek asylum in Canada.
