A vacant home on Parr Avenue in Mission was levelled Sunday night by a suspicious fire.
Mission Fire/Rescue Service was called out shortly after 9 p.m. after neighbours reported seeing flames.
The building was engulfed in fire when firefighters arrived, and crews were on scene until just before midnight.
According to Chief Ian Fitzpatrick, there was no gas or power to the structure, and the fire has been deemed suspicious.
There was no insurance on the building, as it was going to be bulldozed when the Parr Avenue development project proceeded, he continued.
