Vandalism in downtown Fort St. James

On Wednesday, June 10, damage was done to some municipal property in downtown Fort St. James.

On Wednesday, June 10, damage was done to some municipal property in downtown Fort St. James.

The Fort St. James fire hall had a window broken and the Fort St. James Bicentennial Library had two trees broken and a picnic table overturned sometime during the night.

The vandals destroyed the one tree, breaking it off completely, and snapping the other off about halfway down the trunk.

No other damage is known and RCMP are investigating and cost estimates were not known.
