Oct 14, at 10:00 p.m. Vanderhoof RCMP was called to Napa Auto Parts where two sets of tires were found to be stolen to the value of $6,000
Oct 15, at 4:00 a.m. Vanderhoof RCMP were called to an alarm set off at Richard’s Saw Sales. The same night there was an alarm set off at Fountain Tire – nothing was confirmed stolen.
Oct 17, a padlock was cut and entry gained to a shed in town – nothing confirmed stolen, it appeared someone was going around with lock cutters “shopping for something.”
Elk struck
Oct 17, 9:00 p.m. a female driver near Cluculz Lake struck an elk. Fortunately there were no injuries to 4 – 5 occupants

Property lost & found
Oct 19, theft of two quads from Sackner Road. A 2006 red 350 Honda was stolen from a garage and a second ATV, a red 350 Kawasaki ATV of around $5,000 value was stolen from a barn.
Oct 25, RCMP received a call about a found chainsaw discovered left in the woods upside down on the pile of brush on the way to Fort St. James on a side road off Hwy 26
ATV crash
Oct 19, at 4:00 p.m. Vanderhoof RCMP were called to the scene of an incident where an ATV had collided with a pick-up truck, the male ATV driver who was not wearing a helmet sustained a serious head injury and was left unconscious requiring a medevac. An investigation is still underway and charges are being considered for driving with undue care and attention.
False complaint
Oct 24, at 6:00 a.m. Vanderhoof RCMP received a call which ended up being a false complaint. Charges are pending for obstruction.

Drug dealing tip
Oct 27, Vanderhoof RCMP received anonymous information that a male is known to be selling what is believed to be cocaine at the high school. The investigation is ongoing.
Drug seizure
Nov 2, A vehicle was pulled over for a non-compliance infraction, truck plates on a vehicle. Driver was observed to be impaired and the search led to a significant drug seizure. Charges of impairment under the Motor Vehicle Act and the Controlled Drug and Substance Act.
