On October 3 at 2:30 a.m. people were seen entering the Telus compound on Lampitt Avenue. Someone attempted to break into the shed on the compound. Several similar offenses have been reported in Prince George recently with Telus equipment being stolen. The RCMP are looking for any information from the public on this matter to try and tie the incidents together.

Later the same day, someone was reported to have cut through the fence to a business on Lampitt Avenue and stole a roll of aluminum wire.

A number of dirt bikes have been stolen in recent weeks around town. Three have been recovered. If anyone has any information about these thefts please call the Vanderhoof RCMP.

On October 6 at 4:23 p.m., a single motor vehicle accident was reported to have occurred on Redmond Pit Road. The driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a utility pole which broke in half. The truck was severely damaged and was written off. By the time police attended the driver had fled the scene. An unlicensed youth has been reported as the driver. RCMP are still trying to locate him for questioning.

The Vanderhoof RCMP have warrants for arrest issued for the following three males.

Tyrone Teed is wanted for assault causing bodily harm and two counts of breach of probation.

Jason Vickers is wanted for robbery and uttering threats.

Robbie Gibbons is wanted for a review of a conditional sentence order.
