Vehicle goes off Hwy 1, traffic backed up following collision in Chilliwack

No one injured in crash, westbound traffic on Highway 1 slow

A vehicle went off the road and into the centre median following a collision on Highway 1 in Chilliwack.

It happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 24 in the westbound lanes of the highway, east of the Yale Road West exit.

Westbound traffic was backed up as a result.

According to firefighters on scene, the occupants of the vehicle were not injured and called a taxicab.

A tow truck was also called to remove the vehicle.
