On July 26, Salmon Arm RCMP responded to a two-vehicle rear-end collision on Okanagan Avenue and Second Street SE, where a Pontiac Sunfire struck a Suzuki Swift. The 35-year-old female driver of the Sunfire was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently issued a 90-day immediate roadside prohibition (IRP) and her vehicle was impounded.
