It wasn’t the wind Tuesday that knocked down a carport at the Heritage Inn on Old Hope Princeton Way.

It was instead an accident Monday, Oct. 12 involving a vehicle that knocked the concrete pillar of the structure a hotel guest said. The roof of the carport ended up resting at an angle on the knocked over pillar with caution tape surrounding the structure.

No one was hurt in the accident staff confirmed.

The hotel manager was not immediately available for comment.
