Vehicle offered for sale online turns out to be fraud

Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 20 calls for service from November 12th, 8 a.m. till November 13th, 8 a.m.

During the same time period, two people were lodged in Terrace cells; none for intoxication.

Downtown Terrace

A fence on Lazelle Ave was pushed over sometime during the night of November 11/12.

Neighbour dispute on Lazelle Ave. Under investigation.

False business alarm on Lazelle Ave.

A woman passed out at a bus shelter on Lakelse Ave. She kicked the police officer in the chest when attempts were being made to put her into the back of the police vehicle.

Two women pushing each other on Lakelse Ave. Checks of the area were done.

Two men yelling on Lakelse Ave. and trying to fight people. Checks of the area were done.

Elsewhere Terrace

A Jeep Compass was side swiped by a dark colored ’90s 4 door Jeep on Hwy 16 near Walmart in a hit and run. The driver was identified as an adult local man. A violation ticket was issued.

An impaired man at risk of exposure on Hall St. Police spoke with the man.

A residence on Cramer St. has been vandalized numerous times over the past few months.

An unlocked vehicle parked on Scott Ave. was rummaged through sometime during the night of November 11/12.

Missing woman. She was not missing.

Missing youth. The youth returned home later in the night.

Threats were uttered. Police spoke with a person.

Missing woman. Under investigation.

A Facebook message was sent requesting nude pictures. Police spoke with a person.

Thornhill

Deceased 56-year-old man at a residence on Pine Ave.

Fraud. A vehicle was purchased on AutoTrader.ca. Money was deposited into an account. The vehicle was never delivered. Under investigation.

Domestic assault. Under investigation.

Rural

False residential alarm on Kalum Lake Rd.
