Hints from the public are coming in, but Vernon RCMP continue to search for a bank robbery suspect.
Police, last week, released photos of robbery suspects from three different financial institutions in Vernon hit over the past seven months, and indicated that one person is responsible for the three robberies.
“We are receiving tips from the public and we are continuing to follow up on all leads,” said Vernon RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk.
The one suspect is believed to be responsible for robberies at the VantageOne Credit Union Dec. 20, Bank of Montreal on June 9 and at HSBC July 24.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his late teens or early 20s, about six-feet tall, clean-shaven and weighing approximately 150 or 160 pounds.
