Vancouver Island Conference Centre continues to attract organizations looking to utilize its leading edge technology and facilities, this time hosting the Vancouver Island Autism and Associated Conditions conference.

More than 250 delegates are expected for the three-day conference (May 10-12), generating $315,000 to the Nanaimo region.

Co-sponsored with the Vancouver Island region of the Ministry of Children and Family Development, the Autism Community Training Society has developed this year’s conference to focus on “getting on the same page building community capacity to address the needs of children and youth with ASD and associated conditions,” according to a release.

Sixteen educational presentations representing two streams of focus between pre-schoolers and adolescence will be the focus of the conference.
