Victoria, Saanich police on lookout for missing woman

Investigators seek public's help after extensive search

Victoria police are trying to track down a Victoria woman who was last seen in the Fairfield area Monday night.

Victoria and Saanich police officers conducted an extensive search for Catherine Piazza, 56, since she went missing, but are now seeking the public’s help.

She was last seen Monday night around 9:30 p.m.

“She is going through a difficult time in her life and family and friends are concerned with how she is handling that,” said Mike Tucker, spokesperson for the Victoria Police Department. “So right now our top priority is her safety and locating her.”

Pizza is described as 5-foot-6, with a medium build and shoulder-length curly blonde hair. She often wears reading glasses, and was last seen wearing a three-quarter-length teal-coloured winter coat and blue jeans.
