A predicted heavy snow storm failed to materialize in Victoria overnight as snow turned to rain early Friday morning.
Main streets in the downtown core are mainly wet and clear although some are slush covered. Side streets range from slushy to snow covered.
Weather reports are now calling for rain through the weekend rather than snow flurries.
