Snow reached Vernon‘s Foothills Tuesday morning, blanketing the mountain above Tillicum Road in a fresh powder.
But the white stuff isn’t expected to hit the valley bottom, yet.
Environment Canada’s forecast shows rain ending Tuesday afternoon and the snow level at 600 metres rising to 1,400 metres
Wednesday’s forecast is a mix of sun and cloud with a high of six, with similar weather called for on Thursday and Friday (highs of four and five respectively. Periods of rain and high of six are forecast for Saturday with the evening calling for a 40 per cent chance of showers or flurries.
