Donors can drop off supplies for the needy at Murrayville IGA

Kim Snow and her “Angels” have gathered once again at the Murrayville IGA for the Fill the Ambulance campaign.

The event got underway this morning (Saturday) and will continue Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Donors can visit the store just off Fraser Highway on 222 Street to drop off contributions for needy families.

“We’re looking for diapers, baby food, gently used clothes, toiletries, toys, lots of (food) with protein like peanut butter,” Snow said.

Snow and one of her angels, Vince Ford, a B.C. Ambulance paramedic have been putting on the fundraiser for about 16 years, with a goal of overflowing the ambulance with contributions.

Kimz Angels coordinates collection and delivery of donated items to struggling families and individuals, sometimes hand delivering necessities directly.
