Kristina Ward, 20, has been missing since September

Langley RCMP has released surveillance footage of missing girl Kristina Ward in the hopes it will lead to her safe return home.

The 20-year-old Abbotsford girl was reported missing on Sept. 29, and was last seen by a Langley RCMP officer on Sept. 27.

The surveillance footage — captured on Sept. 27 between 7:50 and 8:45 p.m. — is the last confirmed sighting of Kristina, and shows her crossing the street at 104 Avenue and 142 Street in Surrey with a man pushing a bicycle. Investigators would like to identify this man and speak to him.

“Kristina has now been missing for over two months and requires medication, elevating concerns for her well-being. We are asking anyone with any information that might help us to locate her to please call Langley RCMP immediately,” said Cpl. Holly Largy, Langley RCMP media relations officer.

“This investigation remains a high priority for Langley RCMP. Police encourage everyone to view the video. Unfortunately, it is taken from quite a distance, however you may be familiar with the gait or mannerisms of the male walking with Kristina. The smallest piece of information might be very helpful.”

Kristina is described as 5’6″ tall, 130 lbs, with curly brown hair and brown eyes.

In October, Kristina’s mother and grandmother made a public plea to help find the young girl, who they said has a mental capacity that ranges between 12 and 16 years old.

Anyone with information is asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
