A report of a fight involving a knife aboard a TransLink bus drew multiple units of Langley RCMP Wednesday afternoon.
At least five police cruisers arrived at the scene on 203 Street near Fraser Highway just before 5 p.m.
Langley RCMP Staff Sgt. Loi Ly said it was in response to a report of a disturbance with one person “reportedly having a knife.”
On investigation, officers determined that it was a consensual fight between two men, ages 21 and 30, and that “the knife was never used.”
“There was no risk to public safety,” Sgt. Ly told the Langley Advance Times.
No serious injuries were reported.
One person was taken into custody. No charges are expected.
