In an annual tradition, Santa Claus visited Creston yesterday to kick off the Christmas season, at the end of the 2012 Santa Claus Parade. The event was sponsored by the Creston Valley Chamber of Commerce and Creston Community Pride. Following the parade, spectators enjoyed a bonfire in the Spirit of Creston Square, as well as a performance by the Creston Community Band.
